Trains For America

More choices for better transportation

California Prop. 1A passing with 52%

Here is the Los Angeles Times map. Somebody from California please explain the significance of the passing counties. (Although I think I already know.)

Words do not express the importance of this development. A true European style High Speed Rail network in North American changes the transportation equation completely.

  1. I’m so excited to hear it passed! I hope California will be a model for the rest of the country.

  2. We’re going to do it, Woo Woo WOOOO!!!! True high-speed rail is coming to America!!

  3. Cal says:

All of the Bay Area passed it by wide margins..less so in SoCal and the 3 largest Valley counties also passed it..most of the north counties tuned it down but they have small populations compared to the coast.
We are all very excited here and look forward to seeing this great system built!!
