Bombardier wins signalling contract for high-speed railway in China

From the wonderful people who gave us Acela, comes good news from a distant land. The 600 miles of high speed rail line will go into commercial service in 2010. Forbes reports.

 The 15-year contract involves the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Bombardier’s Interflo onboard and wayside signalling equipment for CRSC and its customer, the Chinese Ministry of Railways, on nearly 1,000 kilometres of rail line between Wuhan and Guangzhou, Bombardier said.
