UTU: News: Boardman to remain as Amtrak president through 2013

The contract of Amtrak President Joseph Boardman, 61, has been extended through 2013 by the Amtrak Board of Directors.

Although Amtrak is federally owned, its president serves at the pleasure of the Amtrak board, and Senate confirmation is not required.
