Amtrak considers upgrades to the Texas Eagle train – Springfield, IL – The State Journal-Register.

Well at least we know now that if the route is less than 750 miles, it is not going to happen unless the STate(s) pay for it. Amtrak’s usefulness is getting less by the day.
